Today I am writing about the release of "The Little Ginormous, Humongous, Hairy, One-Eyed Monster Boys Adventures! and today I am happy to let you know of a new cover (this one has more color) and I want to share with you a peek into the first story in the book - There are Teeny, Tiny, Itty, Bitty, Not-so-Hairy, Two-eyed People Children Under My Bed!
When my grandsons were younger, my one sweet, and rascally grandson decided one evening to scare his younger brothers at bedtime by telling them there were monsters under their bed, but I told them there could not be monsters under their beds because the monsters were at their poppa's and grandma's house getting ready for bed on their sleepover! We then made up a story about the little Ginormous, Humongous, Hairy, One-Eyed Monster boys who thought they saw teeny, tiny, itty, bitty, not-so-hairy, two-eyed people children under their bed at bedtime and how their poppa and grandma monster told them they were very much like little monster boys! I thought I'd share a couple pages from this story with you today . . .
“What else do you like to do at my house?” asked the poppa monster.“I like to snuggle in your lap and have you read bedtime stories to me!” said the littlest ginormous, humongous, hairy, one-eyed monster.
“Well, teeny, tiny, itty, bitty, not-so-hairy, two-eyed people children like to snuggle in their grandma’s or poppa’s lap for bedtime stories, too!” said poppa monster.
The poppa and grandma monsters help their sweet, little ginormous, humongous, hairy, one-eyed monster boys discover more ways they are like the teeny, tiny, itty, bitty, not-so-hairy, two-eyed people children in this fun story with colorful illustrations. It will capture the imagination of the children you love and give you the opportunity to have important conversations about how they are able to be friends with other children who do not look like them because they are really very much the same!
There are two stories in this one book and lots of colorful illustrations - don't be surprised if the children you love want this to be a story you read to them every night at bedtime!
