You are likely familiar with the three Bible people I am highlighting today from my illustrate my own - Known Bible Hero book series - Noah, Hananiah, Mishael & Azariah (otherwise known as Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego), and Ruth, so just think how much fun it would be to illustrate these familiar accounts . . . whether you are an artist or draw your illustrations with stick people. As much fun as it would be for you to illustrate these Bible adventures for your grandchildren, think how much more fun it would be to illustrate them together . . . and most importantly, think about the fantastic conversations you would be able to have as you work together to illustrate your books!Noah knew something very, very important. Noah knew he had to obey God . . . even when it meant getting up close and personal with the “sharp teeth” of lions, crocodiles and other animals with big teeth . . . oh yes, and even when he was sure to be laughed at for obeying God!
As you learn about Noah in this “Illustrate My Own – Known Bible Hero” book, you will remember the important lesson he had to teach us all about how we can choose to obey God’s plan so we know and walk with Him . . . even if others laugh at us for doing so!
Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah knew something very, very important. They knew a ginormous gold covered statue was not the One Real God Most High! They also knew the One Real God Most High was able to save them from the fiery furnace!
As you learn about Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah in this “Illustrate My Own – Known Bible Heroes” book, you will come to learn who Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah were and will remember the important lesson they taught about how young people can choose to worship and obey only God Most High Who Is the One Real God, even if doing so means you have to stand alone in your trust of God and even if something frightening might happen when you do!
Ruth knew something very, very important. Ruth knew there really was One Real God Most High and He loved her! Ruth also knew even when sad and difficult things happened to her, she could still choose to show the One Real God Most High’s love to others!
As you learn about Ruth in this “Illustrate My Own – Known Bible Hero” book, you will remember the important lesson she had to teach us all about how we can choose to show God’s love to others . . . even when sad and difficult things happen to us! With these books, you will be able to show your creativity and provide the illustrations making them truly your own! It does not matter if you are only able to draw stick people (and seriously, a book with stick people could be a fantastic book!) - the point is the value in in the conversations these books will generate! And, stick people, or more detailed illustrations, these books will be a treasure to enjoy as you and/or the children you love put the time into illustrating them!
So, artist or not, get these books, illustrate them, and treasure the conversations - and most importantly the learning - which will happen as you do!
