Did you know 86% of grandmas bake cookies? Are you part of the 86%? If so, what are your grandchildren's favorite cookies?
While I have many recipes for baking cookies, I do have one no-bake recipe . . . which I'm sharing with you today . . .
Ingredients -
Ingredients -
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 stick of butter
Bring these three ingredients to a boil - stirring from time-to-time, then let boil for one minute without stirring.
- 3 cups oats - I like the "old fashioned"
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Add pb and chocolate chips - stir so they melt and blend in. Add oats. Stir. Drop by the spoonful onto wax-paper lined pans or plates. Place in freezer to "set".
Enjoy!
I tend to keep these cookies in the freezer as they are even better frozen!
So, what no-bake recipes do you use?
