just as grandma's cookie jar should always be full of good things, this blog will be full of good ideas, information, activities and reviews of things to help grandma . . . and grandpa, mom and dad too . . . pass on a heritage of faith to the children in their lives!
Handing down the faith means telling our grandchildren the truth - God loves them, He is always with them, He hears, listens to and answers their prayers, and they can know and walk with Him. But it also means telling them there are difficult times in this life. Times when they may not understand what is happening. But, God is with them in those times and they are able to hold fast to Him and complete the path before them. In happy and difficult times, they are able to keep their eyes on Jesus and not give up!With all the horrible things happening in our world today, it is easy for us, and the ones we love to lose heart and be discouraged. Take time today to encourage yourself, and the ones you love with the truth of how God is still with them - be encouraged to hold on tightly to Him - especially when we do not understand the things which are happening. We need to keep our eyes on Jesus and not give up.
