Christmas and New Years Day are past and the next "big" holiday is Valentines Day, so I thought I'd share some fun Valentines Day crafts with you! I love "window clings" which made these wonderful hearts I found on Pinterest seem like a great place to start!
Just follow this link for a recipe which uses things you probably have already; at least for the "base". Have fun designing your own hearts and make a bunch of them; some your grandchildren can take home, some they can put on your windows, some they can give to their teachers at church and at school, and some they can give to shut-ins or neighbors to brighten their day, too! This is the perfect craft to use with your grandchildren to encourage creativity and a generous heart! Not only is it pretty easy to make, it is easy to add your own "touch" to your hearts and inexpensive to make, so making a lot and sharing them generously is easy to do!
As you make these talk with your grandchildren about love; the love you have for them, their parents have for them, the love they have for others and most importantly, the love God has for them! Enjoy this wonderful craft!
