If you have been reading grandma's cookie jar for long, you know I love crafts which involve making hand and/or footprints of my grandsons . . . they grow up so very fast, so being able to save a "moment in time" when they are "little" (even when they assure me they are no longer "little", but are "big"!) is something I cherish! So, when I was browsing on Pinterest and saw a salt-dough hand-print heart, I knew I had to do two things . . . make some with my sweet boys and share the recipe with you!
It is really simple to make these hand-print hearts . . . follow this link for the recipe and complete directions. This is a craft which your grandchildren are able to help make the dough for and able to shape and make their hand-prints . . . with just a bit of help depending on how old they are! This craft is fun to make - who doesn't love to play with salt dough???!!!! - and fun to make! Plus, the end result is one parents and grandparents will cherish . . . I know I certainly will!
What do you think? Have you made this craft with your grandchildren? Is it one you might make with them?
