Mark Your Calendar for February 15th!

This year February 15th is a Thursday - two weeks from today. You may be asking why should you mark your calendar for this day? Because it is the day after Valentine's Day. Of course you realize this - it is obvious, so why does this matter? Because . . . it is the day all the heart-shaped candies go on clearance!!!! If you haven't already, make plans to head for your local store first thing and pick up some of these wonderful treats to have on hand for special surprises from grandma! Just think of all the things you could do with heart-shaped candies . . . if you have them . . .

• You will be able to give them to your grandchildren as a special treat all year long, (of course the giving of a heart shaped candy would necessitate it is accompanied with hugs and kisses, too!) :^) <3 and since you bought them on on February 15th, you were able to get them at clearance prices!!!! (I love the word "sale" and "clearance" is an even more "lovable" word!!!) :^)
• You will be able to give them to your grandchildren when they have something special and wonderful happen in their lives (again, accompanied, of course, with hugs and kisses!) :^)
• You will be able to give them to your grandchildren when they have something sad or difficult happen in their lives (once again, with hugs and kisses!) :^)
• You will be able to provide them for your grandchildren to add to crafts or baked goods which they are giving to shut-ins or elderly neighbors or to people who need their day brightened as a special, extra "touch"!
• You will be able to use them as a "prop" when you talk with your grandchildren about God's love and how "sweet" it is! :^)
• Of course, you will be able to keep them on your desk or counter as a way to brighten the day of all who enter your home . . . this is if you can manage to keep from eating them yourself! :^)

So, what are you waiting for? Mark your calendars!!! Underline February 15th! Circle it! Draw a few hearts on this date and plan to head for your local stores and buy heart-shaped candies!!!! :^)
