Tomorrow is Resurrection Sunday, so let's look at I John 3:16-18 where it says, "This is how we have come to know love: He laid down His life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers If anyone has this world's goods and sees his brother in need, but closes his eyes to his need - how can God's love reside in him? Little children, we must not love with word or speech, but with truth and action." Jesus cares about us . . . a "whole awful lot", but He wasn't willing to just talk about how much He cared. He acted. He came. He gave His all - which is why we celebrate Resurrection Sunday. Do I give my all?
Talk with the ones you love about why it matters for us to care, a "whole awful lot" and how when we care this much it will impact the things we do - and this is when things will "get better". Take time to thank Jesus for how He showed us what it looks like to care a "whole awful lot", and then talk about what you might do to show an elderly neighbor, a local fire department, their teachers at school, or someone else how they care a "whole awful lot".
