just as grandma's cookie jar should always be full of good things, this blog will be full of good ideas, information, activities and reviews of things to help grandma . . . and grandpa, mom and dad too . . . pass on a heritage of faith to the children in their lives!
Tomorrow is National Oreo Day, so I thought I'd get you ready by sharing a recipe I found as I browsed the Kraft recipes - I came across a recipe which left me with only one word I could say . . . WOW!!!!! Chocolate pudding, Cool Whip (although I think you could easily substitute real whipping cream in this recipe), Oreos, Chocolate Fudge topping and Ice Cream Sandwiches . . . mix all together and you have a dessert which will leave everyone who eats it saying, "WOW!!!!"Just follow this link for the recipe - it is really simple - and unique. You mix Hot Fudge topping, Cool Whip and instant Chocolate Pudding together then add some chopped Oreos for the really delicious topping which you layer with ice cream sandwiches and then "wrap" in more Cool Whip . . . can you see why I could only say, "WOW!!!"??? :-) This is a truly simple recipe - one which your grandchildren can make - and sample :-) - with you! Have fun making this dessert and get ready for pure enjoyment when you and your family eat it!!! After all, what isn't there to love about Chocolate pudding, Cool Whip, Oreos, Chocolate Fudge topping, and Ice Cream Sandwiches? :-)
