Today is National New Mexico Day

If you live in New Mexico, today is a day to celebrate as it is National New Mexico Day! So, whether you live there or not, let's take a minute or two to learn about some of their silly laws and some interesting fun facts about this State as well - be sure to share them with your grandchildren!   • It is against the law to misspell your name.
  • You may not dance while wearing a sombrero.
  • Women are not allowed to pump gas or change their tires.

  • In 1912 New Mexico became the 47th state of the United States of America.
