A few years ago I shared about a Jambo Book which is offered in their wonderful book clubs - Bob, Not Bob! written and illustrated by Audrey Vernick, Liz Garton Scanlon, and Matthew Cordell.

- Wonderful, fun, engaging illustrations
- Excellent story - one with which everyone will identify
- I love how they recommend reading it as if you have the worse cold ever!
Little Brown Books for Young Readers (the publisher) says, "Little Louie is stuck in bed with a bad cold. His nose is clogged, his ears are crackling, and his brain feels full. All he wants is his mom to take care of him, but whenever he calls out for her, his stuffed-up nose makes it sound like he's summoning his slobbery dog Bob instead! I absolutely love Bob, Not Bob! My grandsons loved this story as well This is a must-have book to keep on a grandparent's/parent's go-to bookshelf for those times when the children you love are not feeling well. Reading this is sure to help them fell better!
