Summer Reading - Chicken Little - The Real and Totally True Tale

In a box of books I received a couple years ago from Scholastic was a fun and quirky book - Chicken Little - The Real and Totally True Tale . . . a book which quickly became a favorite of my grandsons!

Chicken Little - The Real and Totally True Tale

Author/Illustrator - Sam Wedelich

Publisher - Scholastic Press

Ages - Preschool - Third Grade

Favorite Features -

  • Absolutely fun illustrations!
  • Silly story - caught the attention of my grandsons.
  • Great story to encourage conversations about truth and how we respond to different situations.
Scholastic said; "Chicken Little is NOT afraid of anything. Well, okay, maybe a mysterious BONK to the head can produce panic. But only momentarily. It's not as though she meant to send the barnyard into a tailspin, thinking that the sky was falling. How ridiculous! But can she calm her feathered friends with facts and reason?

A timeless favorite becomes a clever cautionary tale in this FUNNY, fresh, and timely picture book debut by cartoonist, Sam Wedelich!"

The truth and facts matter - this is an excellent book to help the children you love learn this from a young age - and do so in a very fun and memorable way!
