Summer Reading - I Love You a Bushel and a Peck

I love the song, "A Bushel and a Peck" and completely enjoyed this story book by Rosemary Wells and Frank Loesser built around the old song, so it seems like an excellent book to share with you while I wait for more books to arrive in my Summer Reading series - you and your grandchildren are sure to love it, too!

When I read/sang A Bushel and a Peck to my grandsons, I "tweaked" the words a bit . . . "I love you a bushel and peck - A bushel and peck and a hug around the neck - A hug around the neck and a kiss upon the cheek - you know you are gonna get another kiss upon the cheek - - - Cause I love you, I do - Doodle, oodle, oodle, doodle, oodle, oodle, doodle, oodle, doodle doo" :^) Enjoy!
