Did you know -
  • Megabats are the only bats which do not use echolocation to find food. Since they do not eat bugs, this makes sense as echolocation is not helpful in finding fruit.
  • Wolverines have a special molar in the upper back of their mouth which is turned 90 degrees towards the inside of their mouth. This lets them tear into meat which is frozen solid  also extremely helpful since they live where it is so cold.
  • Giant clams have special cells  iridophores  protect them from the sun by reflecting sunlight. They act as sunscreen by blocking the suns UV rays.
  • Baby Bengal Tigers are called puppies.
  • Along with being the chameleon of the sea, Clown Frogfish are the vacuum of the sea . . . they do not have teeth for chewing, so when a fish is close enough, they open their mouth and suck it in whole.
  • Orangutans are the only ape which did not originate in Africa, with orange to red-brown hair, and live most of their lives in trees.
  • Wombats are the only animal on Earth which have cube-shaped poo.
  • Tasmanian Devils are bio-fluorescent! At night their ears, eyes, and nose glow bright blue! You need a black light to see this.
In Megabats, Bengal Tigers, Quetzals & More! the children you love will be able to learn so many fun, surprising, and interesting things about animals, participate in activities they will never forget, and you will have the opportunity to engage them in important conversations about how these incredible animals help them know God is real!
