about grandma

My name is Lynda Freeman and I am from West Michigan - apple country - I have lived in Virginia and Northern California. I met my husband on a volcano (Mt. Lassen in California) and at one look knew we would get married! We have been married since 1981 and along with three grandsons, we have two grown children and a daughter-in-law. 

I believe a grandma has the unique opportunity to "pamper grandchildren a tad bit from time to time" by being sure the cookie jar is never empty, always making time to snuggle and read a book together and encourage creativity by helping them learn new things! Of course a grandma's purse must always have a sweet treat as well! While I fully delight in every aspect of being a grandma, I also realizes the responsibility to help point these little ones to Jesus is the most important thing I will do as a grandma. It is to this end grandma's cookie jar exists . . . to serve as a resource and source of ideas for grandmas - and grandpas, dads and moms - everywhere!
